Hand made 'playing cards' recycled tablecloth shirt

How happy was I to find this special reclaimed tray cloth hand embroidered with two hands of cards?!

I carefully positioned one set of cards on each front yoke and used another reclaimed cutwork tablecloth to complete the shirt. Both are lovely quality 100% natural-coloured linen, giving this shirt a really nice feel and weight.

It's finished off with found red buttons, a hanging loop and side splits and I've retained the original lacy cotton trim on the sleeves and hem. Anyone off to Vegas?

As always, this shirt is a complete one-off, hand made by me from 100% reclaimed vintage materials, including the thread.
