Multicoloured check recycled blanket vest

Vest or waistcoat made from a reclaimed vintage checked blanket. I love the colours of the patchwork-effect squares!

Finished off with found red and off-white cotton binding and vintage wooden buttons and I have left the original blanket stitch edging visible at the tops of the pockets.

As ever, this one-off piece was lovingly handmade by me in using 100% non-new materials on vintage sewing machines!
